Hello, I'm new to Wings3D and pretty much everything else (I don't have any experience with 3d modeling). I actually started to work with it a few hours ago (lol). I know there's a topic similar to it here, but the guy didn't get a answer and my problem is a bit different, so I'm writing a new one.
So far I manage to build a model of a F-Zero like car and add some simple textures to it. I'm trying to learn how to use Unity (or Unity3D), so I'm tried to export the model to this program and I failed. LOL.
On Unity I can only see the model of the car, but I cannot see any textures. I tried to export it to blender as well, and I had the same problem: the model is showing up, but I got no textures.
I exported it to .3ds and .obj. I also converted it to .fbx, which seems to be a recommended format for usage on Unity, but I didn't get good results either.
If the textures aren't showing up in two programs, then I think I'm doing something wrong when I try to add texture to my model on Wings3D. I would like to know how I can solve that.
Here is a step-by-step screen shoots of how I add textures in Wings3D. You might find what am I doing wrong or if I'm skipping a step of the process: http://i40.tinypic.com/20kdhxz.jpg
