I am considering modeling a 3D slot machine. Would UV Mapping be what I need to include the graphics you normally see on a slot machine,
like the name of the game, payouts etc.? I can get the graphics, no problem (GIF of JPG). The problem is including them with the model.
I researched UV mapping quite some time ago for something else I was doing but I had to abandon the idea because the more I read about
UV mapping, the worse my head ached!!! I had and still do have a problem wrapping my head around the whole concept of UV Mapping.
As you can probably tell, I'm not exactly a 3D kind of guy.
So, if UV mapping is what I will ultimately need, a nice tutorial on UV Mapping and something close to what I wnat to do would be great!
