I recently updated my Wing install from 0.99.04a to 1.0.1 and to my disappointment I noticed the inset face feature had returned to the old not-so-functional
self (along with a name change from contour to inset). To be precise, it's the inset region that has been broken. For someone who uses that feature a lot,
it's really annoying having to do the whole thing manually because the tool doesn't function properly.
Most of the time when I try to inset a region it twists the edges all wrong instead of keeping them straight like "contour" did. A few pictures to clarify:
1. I want to inset the region in red
2. Here is what the inset region tool does now. Notice how the edges are all funky and the faces distorted.
3. Here is what I need it to do (And what it indeed did in 0.99.04a). Notice how all the edges and faces are uniform.
Why was it changed back to the nonfunctional version of the past in the newer (1.0.1) version?
