Here is your chance. You can help us test our snapshots and find bugs before they make it into a developer release.
We will release snapshots (for Windows and Mac) daily (if there is something new to release). The snapshots may contain experimental features that will not make even into it a development release of Wings.
Interested? Here are the rules:
1. This is an experiment attempting to improve the quality of Wings. We hope to receive good feedback from you. If it turns out that we get more useless feedback than useful feedback we will stop providing snapshots.
2. We expect you to be an experienced user of Wings if you download these snapshots. Beginners should use the stable or developer releases.
3. You should keep a good backup of your Preferences file and any precious Wings models that you use when trying out the snapshots. You might need to clean up your Preferences files if we remove or change a new feature between snapshots. (If you don't know to manually clean the Preferences file, you should not use the snapshots.)
4. Make sure to follow the advice in How to get the bugs you report fixed in the next release.
5. Post bug reports and feedback in this thread. Make sure provide information about the date of the snapshot (if you remember it) and version.
6. Optional but appreciated: If you find a bug in a snapshot, verify whether it can be reproduced in the latest development release. If so, post the bug report in the bug report thread for that release and not in this thread.
