Say, you know how the POV exporter can associate Povray-specific properties with materials? Well I was thinking, it would be spiffy if we had a plugin to associate OpenGL shaders and their parameters with materials! E.g. you bake a shader into a texture in AutoUV, and by doing so that saves the shader name and parameters into the material so you can come back and tweak it later, without having to remember or write down all the parameters you used last time!
I think I'll look into how the POV exporter saves its properties into materials for starters
