i would like to be able to define an area under its influence. Under certain aspects, it seems this is related to "mask areas" idea.
For example: if i want to tweak magnet a hand finger, it would really cool if i could "isolate" that finger so that the other ones wouldnt be affected by the operation.
The last time you mentioned this possibility, you was studying how to improve a percentage influence of the masked area over the geometry around it.
This add-on would be a great step to tweak history.
Nowadays it is already possible to make multiple selections, but tweak magnet influence around it is yet enterely free.
I dont know what workflow you imagine but wouldnt it be possible to implement this?
(a) select an area and store it as "masked"
(b) deselect all
(c) select an element (or a multiple ones) inside masked area
(d) tweak magnet the (c) selection and no elements out (a) defined area wouldnt be affected.
What do you think about this?
Thanks in advance, Optigon.
