is there a way to weld two objects without stitching their respective uv charts?
edit: well, if there is, i couldnt find it. So facing tedious cleaning of messed up uvs, i simply brought the object into lightwave and merged it there. Word of advice people - cutting your mesh for uv mapping is not a recommended practice in wings.
