I would like to import an object (obj) that has multiple texture maps and then export it with one map that combines all visible textures and discards all invisible sub surface maps for that object. -or-
How can I break up an imported object (obj) model by material so each piece of the model will be exported as separate objects? I.e. the object I am working with has 10 material maps so when I export there needs to be 10 separate object exported.
