I can't seem to find the lift command anymore, where does it resides ?
And I still not get what the bounding box does , and what vectors mean in wings3d ? Can someone explain ? |

Lift is in the face mode menu (if you have turned on the advanced menus).

The vectors in wings3D are used to define a direction in the 3D space. They are specially useful when defining directions that are not standard, like X, Y or Z axis.
For use them, first, you have to turn on advanced menus. When you are about to make an operation press the right button instead of left and you will be able to define a vector. How you do it. Choose 2 points if you are in vertex mode, or an edge if you are in edge mode, or a face if you are in face mode and you will see an arrow showing the new direction you have defined. You can swicht modes when you are defining the vector. Press right button again and execute the movement. There are more options if you press alt+right button but if you havent use vectors yet you have enough to play already. This description is for the last version of wings 0.94.3, the vector selection in previous versions involved an extra step but forget about it. |

Vectors are *wicked* love that you can rotate a vertex around the middle of a poly..
And moving vertex along an edge is like tweak mode.. very cool.. Now if only I could figure out what functionality the bouding box brings ;) |
