Wings allows you to assign your own keyboard hot keys. To do so select the command you want a hot key for in the menu system, make sure it is still highlighted, then press the Insert key. Then press the key combination you want to assign to that command. To remove a hot key assignment, select the command in the menu system, make sure it is still highlighted, and press the Delete key. Or you can use the Wings default key assignments which are listed here:
A = Aim
A+Shift = View | Frame
A+Ctrl = Select All (Vertices, Edges, Faces or Objects per current selection mode)
A+Alt = View | Align to Selection
B = Body selection mode
C = Connect (Vertex and Edge selection mode)
D = Edit | Repeat
D+Shift = Edit | Drag Shift (which repeats the mouse move part of the last action too)
E = Edge selection mode
F = Face selection mode
G = Select | Edge Ring
I = Select | Similar
I+Ctrl+Shift = Select | Inverse
L = Select | Loop
L+Shift = Select | Region
L+Ctrl = File | Merge (non-destructively adds another file to the current scene)
N = File | New

R+Shift = Resets OpenGL and frees the mouse if you get stuck. I keep forgetting to do this! Could be a life saver.

U = View | Auto Rotate
V = Vertex selection mode
W = View | Wireframe mode (works as a toggle). Can use this in work mode or flat shaded mode to great effect.

Z = Z axis view
Z+Shift = negative Z axis view
Z+Ctrl = Edit | Undo/Redo

Tab = View | Flat Shaded (toggles between workmode and flat shaded mode)
Tab+Shift = Smooth shaded preview.
Tab = Numeric entry if pressed during an interactive drag command

+ will also increase the area of influence of several interactive commands, such as magnets, vertex extrudes, edge extrudes and bump.
- = Select | Less
- will also decrease the area of influence of several interactive commands, such as magnets, vertex extrudes, edge extrudes and bump.
F3 = Select | Next Edge Loop
F4 = Select | Previous Edge Loop
The F3 and F4 keys can be very effective for quickly marching up and down a set of edgloops when adjusting a model.
F5 = Select | By | Faces with | 5 or more This saves you 4 levels of menus.
Bksp = Vertex | Collapse
Bksp = Edge | Dissolve and Face | Dissolve
Bksp = Face | Dissolve
Bksp = Body | Delete
Del = Vertex | Dissolve (note the differance form Bksp)
