Re: * ManifoldLab.Com has been Lost to the registering agency * (reply) Actually ... they don't need that whole URL ... they can just use plain old ggaliens.com to get to the forum, and then jump to the files from there. If Anyone wants to go direct to the files, use wings3d.net |

* ManifoldLab.Com has been Lost to the registering agency * (topic) * ManifoldLab.Com has been Lost to the registering agency * This was by design. I canceled my 1and 1 account which cost me $100.00 per year for 4 years. Just to save money there. They did provide good service. I'm just trying something else. I didn ... |

Re: Packed Uniform Array (body mode) Done, Released. (reply) Thanks. One small step forward for man... Nice alternative: this reminds me of Sketchup. In SU, if you press CTL while moving/rotating/scaling an object it creates a copy of the object. Type "*5" and it creates 5 copies; "/5" creates 5 copies spaced ... |

Re: Packed Uniform Array (body mode) Done, Released. (reply) I added the "BOOKEND" variant that will put N objects in a row ... bewteen prior Bookend objects, including Bookend objects in the N. Bookends are assumed to be the same kind of object with same size. |

Re: Packed Uniform Array (body mode) Done, Released. (reply) Just thinking out aloud. I'll try it out tomorrow. Actually I was just fooling around, trying to make an "instant" sculpture with a cube and a cylinder, when I came across this "problem". Not very important, though. |

Re: Packed Uniform Array (body mode) Done, Released. (reply) Yes, I guess that would be true for the most part. Though sometimes, like in the case of a small rock garden, this wouldn't apply. In which case, I suppose, we could do it manually -- and add some randomness with your "random" module |

Re: Packed Uniform Array (body mode) Done, Released. (reply) FYI ... I think ... Scatter always scatters at the LARGEST Object. But I'd have to revisit that to say for sure. That was my quirky aspect was to assume that the person would want to scatter the smaller item(s) about the larger item. It may well be ... |

Re: Putting Bat Signal Up ... Calling Scorpius ... (reply) OT : Is it possible to have the environment shader affect only a (selected) group of faces? It would be a nice way to display something like a curtain-walled building then. Just (mostly) curiosity |
