Silo2.x looked promising and i was very excited about some of the new features it would bring.
Since it's delayed release, Silo2.x has been plagued with bugs in basic operations, dropped features, and slow to a crawl development.
Yesterday one of the dev posted saying that they are now working on a game engine.
But they will continue to release updates here and there.
No bug fixes or feature updates have been released in nearly a year, and there are still bugs with even basic operations such as creating an outline with grid snapping turned on.
My opinion, avoid Silo2.x and stick with a stable and regularly updated 3d app like Wings3D and Blender, and best of all neither of them will cost you a penny.
Commercial apps seem to be more focused on your money and touting unfinished, unstable or unusable features.
