Hello, been awhile since I posted. I joined a Half-Life 2 mod team based on the anime Eureka 7 awhile ago. I am gonna post screencaps of all of the Eureka 7
anime models I have made/worked on over the last couple months, or the interesting ones anyway.
Oh, and before we start, some background on the series:
Boy meets girl, girl pilots giant mech that surfs on invisible particles, boy leaves home with girl and join a group of rebels at war with the big bad government. It is really a great show and I recommend watching it, or atleast giving the first three episodes a shot because then you will be hooked for all 50 episodes. And more on the mechs:
Gekko (SL-1200 Mk-II)
This is the ship that the renegade Gekkostate flies around the world in. 100% my own model (material colors)
Mon-Soono type20
This is the main LFO used by the government. 100% my own model (textured)
Nirvash typeZERO
This is the LFO that the main character pilots. It has three stages and this is the first and I suppose I will model the other two sometime also. 100% my own model (material colors)
Tower
Towers are the military airfields sort of. Ships land on the flat pad on top. To give you an idea of size, dozens of ships can fit on top, so the whole tower is humongous. 100% my own model (untextured)
Terminus typeR606
The LFO used by one of the members of the Gekkostate crew. The mod team leader made the model, and I spiffied it up. The untextured grey model to the far left is the original he gave me, the textured models on the right are my versions.

Comments and criticism would be great. I've been modeling for about 3 years with Wings 3d now, but I am still learning new things all the time.

The mecha of Eureka Seven are called "Light Finding Operation", commonly abbreviated to LFO. LFOs are humanoid alien skeletons excavated from the Scub Coral that have been fitted with armor and control systems. Military LFOs are known as KLFs (for "Kraft Light Fighter"). LFOs are able to fly by exploiting the same principles of lifting - Trapar particles. An LFO is composed of a giant organic base, called the Archetype; armor; a ref board; and a Compac Drive, a device that allows humans to interface with the Archetype, as well as other machinery.On to the pics (click to make larger):
