Is there a way to load many images, say a couple hundred, quickly and easily? Furthermore, if i have a wings file with a few hundred images, is there a way to
share it with others in a way that they dont have to load all the images manually?

Use File|Import Image...
Open Window|Outliner, select each image, RMB and use Make Internal (*) Create any geometry and Save the file. Next time you open this file, it will come with all the images. I dont know how many images the wings file can contain... (*) i am not sure if you have to use Make Internal command, it is just an old habit. |

So i've got to load them all, one at a time, and then make internal, one at a time, that will be at least a thousand fun mouse clicks.

Yea, no support for Shift-clicking etc to select many files to load in at once. Might be nice actually.. probably difficult to implement though due to multi-OS
support.
Out of curiosity, why the need for so many pics if you don't mind me asking? P.S Also I think "internal" textures do get compressed but it's lossless like ZIP file level maybe.. not JPG level, so be ready for the file size to get bloated real quick by many many megs with so many textures attached |

hmmm... I don't think Photoshop handles opening 200 images at the same time very well.
It'll do it, but it don't like it (esp. when you go to close it down). Nor does it like a single image with 200 layers. go figure..,. |
