I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right section, but I'm having startup problems with wings3D. It works fine on my laptop which has
windows XP, but it won't start on my Vista. All I get is a white screen. How can I solve this? Or what can be wrong with my settings?

Hmm.. go to the Erlang console window (the White blank looking one that should open just before the Wings 3D one does - though
judging by what you said, that may be the only window that you get, and the Wings3D one never appears?) and move the vertical scroll bar around to
see what it says.. Copy/Paste the text from there here for us to see

hmpf.. was hoping to see something strange, but unfortunately that actually seems normal.
I'll move this to the Main W3D section of the forum (where these kinda technical things really belong) and hopefully one of the devs will see it then and have some idea.. |

Stupid question but have you installed (or upgraded) drivers for your graphic card?
Cause vista comes default with a opengl emulation, which might be .. not so good .. Wings crashed on my Vista laptop with my default drivers, but after upgrading wings worked.. |

hey i have had wings3d b4 and i had xp but then i brought a vista computer and now when i use it it doesnt show all of the of the editing page it mosstly shows
up grey PLZ help

I think I have upgraded them, but now that you say this, I do remember that wings used to work with my old graphics card... I'll give updating a try, weird
that I didn't think of that
