 Simple Plate tut - aprox 130kb of pics Not exactly a complex object that a tut might normally be needed for, but it could be a good one for newbies. Give 'em a grasp of the basic Tools & Workflow of Wings. Done in response to a question in the Gallery section (link), demonstrates how/where to add extra edges on the plate object so it survives the smoothing process intact etc. |

Adding this here as well for future ref..
 (about 330kb to load)www.geocities.com/peterchov/BarrelUV.html If you've UV mapped anything what-so-ever before, can probably just ignore this. It's a few steps only, and way way basic stuff. Marking a single edge "for cut" is about as advanced as it gets. Designed more for the ppl with zero experience that are hesitant to even try AutoUV.. Just get 'em to touch on it a bit and become more comfortable with it. |

A fresh one I started at wikibooks, making a generic helicopter. (Generic because it doesn't use a reference.) Still not 100% just yet, but all the steps for making the fuselage are there.

I have written a series of tutorials, primarily for those who wish to create new content for the game Oblivion. So, part of the tutorials concerns Wings3D and
part concerns NifScope, the editor for objects used in games based on the Gamebyro engine (Oblivion, Civilization IV, etc.). For those that might be

This originally started out as taking up a modeling request for FlightGear, but then I decided to document the process to some extent and make a tutorial of
it. It's still a WIP at the moment, but will update and edit this post later on when it's complete.
