I found that the last two crashes reported by Fonte Boa resulted from initiating a cmd on a Smooth Previewed shape using any selection that touched the virtual mirror's seam. I think most cmds would cause this crash (in or out of tweak).

I am curious how you know by these crash dumps where the crash occurred, or how to fix it even.

From what I can make out, in FB second crash;

It happened in the geometry window, because of an after effect from a function (I am presuming that is what function_clause means? the clause of the function?) Hmmm, other than that, those stack traces don't really say much (to me), though I guess if I knew what gb_trees, update_1 referred to I would have a better grasp on the...

The smooth normals will not be update until after the command, if that is what you mean,
just as it works for commands when in smooth mode, i.e. only flat shading during the commands.
Press TAB once after shift-tab to just see the flat-proxy, i.e. ignoring the vertex normals generation.

Nice update! Though I find the smooth proxy to be flashy. ie. I can see it visually updating itself after every operation.

Corrected, and a new snapshot uploaded. The Smooth Proxy updates are included again. If you find any Smooth Proxy bugs, we would be grateful for instructions on how to re-create them (the easy bugs have probably been found by now, so the tough bugs remain).

There is an update to the Tweak mode.

There is a new snapshot with further bug fixes and updates to the Ambient Occlusion plug-in.

The Smooth Proxy updates are not included in this snapshot. Dan has fixed some more bugs, but I found another issue that I think is better sorted out before we include the new Smooth Proxy in a snapshot.
